CAA member Harley Brown became an American citizen in March 2009. Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and raised in Saskatchewan, Brown has been in the United States on a green card for many years. He passed his citizenship test and took the Oath of Allegiance to the United States on March 27 in Tucson.

“I am a great lover of the United States,” says Brown. “I knew in my heart that I would be a citizen one day.”

Brown is known for his unique representations of Native Americans and was inducted into the CAA in 2005.
